From humble beginnings...

Jane Overman first began a small fiber store in her ancestoral home in Greeneville, TN. A student at ETSU working on her BFA in Fiber Arts, her sole intention was to make enough money to purchase supplies for her own creations. Since officially starting business on March 1st, 1993, that small individual home business has grown into a 6,200 sq ft facility with 5 full time employees, 5 part time employees, and a couple of very appreciated volunteers!

Now located in the beautiful mountains of East Tennessee at 5415 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Afton, TN - Jane's Fiber and Beads 3,000 ft retail showroom is your one stop shop for beading, spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, tassel making, and kumihimo supplies. Store inventory includes a vast variety of Japanese Seed Beads, Czech Glass, Gemstones, Pearls, Handmade Glass Beads, Stringing Materials, Findings, Tools, Looms, Spinning Wheels, Fibers, Yarns, Needle Felt Supplies, Books, Magazines, Patterns, and much, much more!!! The retail store hours are Monday-Thursday 10:00am to 5:00pm, Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Classes are occasionally held on Sundays.
